About the Founder
Michael Smith
Founder, Florida Green Energy Advisors
With more than 25 years of experience in the electrical and lighting industry, Michael Smith brings extensive hands-on knowledge of commercial electrical systems, lighting applications and energy-efficient upgrades to Florida Green Energy Advisors.
In 2017, Michael founded Greenbright LED, a commercial LED lighting company focused on helping businesses transition from traditional lighting systems to more energy-efficient LED technology.
Through that experience, he developed a practical understanding of the challenges businesses face when evaluating lighting upgrades—including energy consumption, operating costs, product selection, project economics and implementation.
Today, Michael brings that experience to Florida Green Energy Advisors with a broader focus on helping commercial businesses understand their energy-saving opportunities before they invest.
